Brown Over the course of a successful and diverse business career spanning 35 years, Spencer has served as a key leader in over two dozen financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, Venture Capital and Private Equity transactions and Initial Public Offerings totaling over US$250 million in sectors as diverse as direct marketing, semiconductors and video production services. Spencer joined the ANSR: Board of Advisors when the company was formed in 2007, became a Board Director in September 2009, became Chairman in March 2010 and became CEO in December of 2012. Prior to that, Spencer served as CEO of Euro RSCG DRTV. During his tenure, Euro RSCG DRTV raised its annual billings from $14 million to over $400 million, thus becoming the largest direct response television advertising agency in the world. Before Euro RSCG, he served in a variety of senior corporate leadership positions in public and private companies including 800.com, Now Software, Sundance Electronics, TriQuint Semiconductor, GigaBit Logic, CR Technology, and Compact Video Systems. Spencer is a retired Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Early in his career, he was an Auditor at Peat Marwick Mitchell (KPMG). He is the former Chairman of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) and a former board member of 800.com, ACG Portland (where he also served as President), Chemwest Engineering, Tactix and TriQuint Semiconductor. He is a former board advisor to Dotster, Rejuvenation and Tripwire. He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force in 1973 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from U.C.L.A. in 1976. Spencer is also serves on the ACG Global Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Commerce Bank of Oregon, a subsidiary of NYSE-Listed Zions Bancorp. National Sales Manager – Kailani Kim Kailani has 16 years of experience in the cosmetic and skincare industry. Prior to joining ANSR:, Kailani was the owner of Urban Escape, a salon and spa in the Gig Harbor area of Washington, which she owned for over 5 years. She has been an account executive for Color Me Beautiful brands and Elizabeth Arden and has worked in various channels such as department stores, mid-tier accounts in addition to salons and spas. Brown – Chairman Dawn Blackstone Dawn has over 25 years of experience in major consumer goods companies where she has held senior roles in marketing, sales and general management. Presently she is the Chief Marketing Officer for Jim Markham Enterprises and prior to that held a variety of roles including VP of Global Marketing for Dermalogica; VP Global Product Marketing for Herbalife; EVP of Marketing for a division of Procter and Gamble; EVP Marketing & Sales for Merle Norman Cosmetics; Director of Marketing for Neutrogena; and Director of Trade Marketing for Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products. She began her career in sales with Kellogg’s and later worked in sales and marketing management roles at Del Monte and Nabisco Foods. Dawn holds a J.D. degree from Rutgers, an M.B.A in Marketing from California State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from United States International University. She is also a member of the bar in New York, New Jersey and California, and is active in several professional organizations. |
