Community Manager
ANSR marketing team is seeking an experienced community manager on the marketing team who is passionate about building global online communities of tech practitioner, D&I specialists , GCC leaders that are part of the GCC ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and implementing ANSR’s online and offline community strategy that empowers the individual members to thrive with its products and its in-person community event programs.
Responsibilities:
- Build and promote programs that help communities succeed to share and learn best practices through content, events, and engaging community activities
- Build the strategy and support for ANSR client teams to speak at conferences, meetups, and host events with the community
- Develop and promote content that promotes engagement with the communities, solves their problems or challenges. For instance, planning the monthly newsletter, leading the social media content, and tracking the success metrics of content being developed from the communities
- Conduct competitive analysis to assess how we can lead the industry with powerful, engaged, and thoughtful advocacy and engagement
- Build relationships within client teams to bring key content to the community around thought process, best practices and learnings
- Be a voice for the communities internally and be singularly focused on creating the very best community forum that fosters collaboration, inspiration, and education
- Run powerful social media, incentives, and other outward-facing efforts that will grow our communities, and user base
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of experience leading community advocacy and developer relations programs
- Demonstrated ability in developer marketing or developer relations or developer advocacy
- Proven social media, blogging, and content development skills
- Proven ability to facilitate complex and critical community situations with modesty, judgment, and tact
- Working independently and autonomously, prioritizing multiple projects
Nice to haves:
- Prior experience running global developer or other community marketing programs
- Existing network from a diverse set of communities and social media platforms
- Experience and knowledge of open source workflow, projects, and culture
